P.M. will spearhead the development of an indoor and outdoor urban living complex that promotes inclusivity among disabled individuals, specifically the blind and visually impaired individuals. P.M.’s smart solution consists of a Land-GIS and 3D Design software to connect to a GIS-equipped cane with a braille screen, vibration tool with varying intensities, and infrared radiation. The cane will have building information installed in a box that magnetically follows information pertaining to floors and spaces, classified according to the service type and zones. The user will hear from headphones, in their preferred language.  The user interface will be available on iOS and Android.

The blind user announces their desired zone as voice input or pressure on the cane-mounted screen and they will be guided by a GPS sensor.

The system will further feature connecting to building officials and security personnel, via the building system or other public spaces, building officials and security personnel will be informed of the presence of the blind person and their exact location and will be able to assist the blind person upon his or her help request through the system. This system operates completely offline and the required energy is provided by the individual movements in case the batteries run out.

The blind can also request other aids, such as automatic door openings, elevator requests, traffic light alerts to cross a street, or similar alerts for drivers to inform them about blinds crossing their path. When connected to internet systems, a blind person can take advantage of other options which are offered separately by the MP system.
